National Food Crisis Early Warning System:

A nationally coordinated early-warning and response architecture that integrates AI enabled analytics, security intelligence, climate and market signals to anticipate food supply shocks and trigger rapid, pre-emptive interventions. The system treats food security as a core national security concern, linking agricultural risk surveillance with Nigeria’s broader security infrastructure.

Strategic Grain Reserve (SGR) Reform:

Repositioning the Strategic Grain Reserve from a passive emergency stock pile into an active price-stabilization and market-balancing instrument, anchored on shared responsibility across tiers of government. There form framework as signs reserve targets of 5% at the federal level and 10% at the state level, enabling coordinated procurement, release, and replenishment aligned with seasonal market dynamics.

A US$1.1 billion flagship agricultural modernization initiative targeting mid-sized commercial farmers as the bridge between subsistence and industrial-scale production. The program upgrades 774 progressive farms using Brazilian technology, supported by six regional equipment hubs, tailored capacity building, and technology transfer to improve productivity, quality, and commercial viability.
